From a young age I have always loved aviation, especially the arts and how they are involved in the industry. Alongside the fine art side of Wartime Artwork, I have a wide portfolio of work. From painting nose art on aircraft panels, illustrating comic strips of old 'war stories' from days gone by and conducting my own air to air photoshoots, if you want something creative in historic aviation I can provide it!

A huge part of my portfolio is the work I do as a photographer and graphic designer for The Vintage Aviation Echo, an annual print publication dedicated to preserving the romance and beauty of not only print but the people behind the aircraft we adore. This has led to me having some amazing experiences in and around historic aircraft that influences my artistic work hugely - from ripping above the skies of Germany in a P-51 to dive-bombing in a de Havilland Fox Moth in Suffolk.

Much of my love for the arts world began with scale models as a child, where I would always try to paint my own markings on the aircraft (and not to much success!!) as I loved studying the nose arts and colour schemes on the aircraft I was recreating. Following on from that years later, I find myself recreating nose art and markings that havent been seen in colour for over 80 years which is immensely satisfying and rewarding - bringing these individual stories to life through vivid colour and detail.
