A3 print of the iconic liveried P51 "Big Beautiful Doll"

P-51D-20-NA 44-72218 'Big Beautiful Doll' as flown by Col. John D. Landers, with the 84th Fighter Squadron (78th Fighter Group) out of Duxford. A P-51 I've wanted to paint for a while but have put off doing, I hope I did this incredible scheme justice!

There are several iterations of this scheme, with this being the 'middle' ~ with all the red outlines, but minus the dark-blue anti glare infront of the cockpit. This is how the P-51 looked post-VE Day, as the 78th prepared themselves for being based in Europe on peacekeeping, or potentially being shipped away to the Far East to fight the remains of Imperial Japan.
